In honor of the American Public Gardens Association’s Go Public Gardens Days 2021 from May 7-16, we asked for photos from our members and visitors at the Arboretum, and we were delighted with the response. Many of you dug through your photo archives to share meaningful memories of your time at the Arboretum throughout the years.

We received so many responses, that we’ll feature the photos in two parts. The first installment focuses on people at the Arboretum. Watch for another installment on Tuesday focused on nature at the Arboretum.

Go Public Gardens Days was designed to encourage people to visit public gardens near their home and in their travels. Search for public gardens throughout the country using this map.

We hope these photos remind you of your favorite Arboretum experiences. You can always share photos of your Arboretum explorations with us at
